Valsesia has origin to the feet of the Mount Rose between the Anza valley and the Lys one; continue between Strona valley the Biellesi valleys, touch lightly the Orta lake and end up between Romagnano and Gattinara to 65 kilometers from its beginning… The high Valsesia then is divided in three main valleys: Val Grande, Val Piccola or Sermenza and Val Mastallone: these then are subdivided in other minors… The main river of Valsesia is the Sesia… it is born to the height of 2700 meters.
